research and analysis. Bankrate's Snapshot service provides financial
research information along with Bankrate's CAEL Rating covering

data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Office of Thrift
Supervision, and the National Credit Union Administration, Bankrate assigns
a value to each of the CAEL categories and calculates a composite Bankrate
CAEL Rating for each financial institution.
The Bankrate Snapshot provides powerful independent
research for industry professionals, institutions, regulators, depositors,
borrowers, creditors, those seeking to reduce counterparty risk and others
needing information regarding financial profile, condition and soundness
of banks, thrifts and credit unions.
